If there’s one thing the small screen could always use more of, it’ssmokin'-hot actors with irresistible accents.

From Gossip Girl’s Ed Westwick (Chuck Bass) to The Vampire Diaries’Joseph Morgan (Klaus), the following band of Brits are some of the sexiest blokes to have crossed the pond for an American series.

Twilight Star joins The Vampire Diaries cast and makes his mark on the show

There was a glimpse of Galen Vaughn in The Vampire Diaries Season 4, Episode 13, “Into the Wild,” but he’ll be all up in Damon’s (Ian Somerhalder) business in the next episode. Charlie Bewley spoke withAlloy Entertainment about his character and the show’s love triangle.

Obviously, as part of the Twilight Saga, Charlie is no stranger to vamps, and he misses some of their supernatural powers playing a member of the Five on TVD. “Vaughn is like Bear Grylls on a vengeance mission — and everyone loves Bear. But Bear can’t fly,” says Charlie.

When asked about the show’s love triangle — between Stefan (Paul Wesley), Elena (Nina Dobrev), and Damon (Ian Somerhalder) — Charlie admitted fans probably don’t want to hear his opinion. “I cannot believe these two brothers toss around a girl they supposedly love, neither can I believe that Elena willfully hops into bed with one after the next, and back. Sire bond is no excuse,” he said.

That was enough to get some angry tweets defending Elena, but it was Charlie’s response on Twitter that really upset people:

“What Charlie Bewley said about the love triangle and Elena was absolutely true. It was his response tweet to fans that was inappropriate,” one fan tweeted.

Back in November, after Elena and Damon had sex right after her breakup with Stefan, executive producer Julie Plec reminded everyone in an interview with Zap2It that they are fictional characters, saying, “In the real world, would it happen that quickly? Maybe not. But I do think that the punctuation on the breakup is her finally giving in to these feelings for Damon, and then to raise the question of ‘Oh, God. Is that what she really felt or is it all part of the supernatural link between them?’”

Cover your eyes, youngsters! There are racy spoilers below!

Well, only if you have a vivid imagination. Regardless, TV Guide promisesKlaus (Joseph Morgan) will finally get some sexual healing on The Vampire Diaries.

Of course, they don’t say who gets to see the OV in all his glory, but we really only have one guess — Caroline (Candice Accola).

Don’t ask us what will happen between this week’s episode — when she’s still miffed about the hybrid nearly killing her — and March, when the sexy sex will happen, but we’ve seen the tweets and comments. Despite Klaus’s bad, bad deed, Klaroline shippers still have hope for the blond duo.

Or maybe Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin) comes back and she and Klaus have hate sex? She is joining him in New Orleans, after all.

Either way, where does that leave Tyler (Michael Trevino)?

Vampire Diaries Tragic End for one (Spoiler)

The Vampire Diaries is a show where witches can bring people back from the dead, vampires kiss humans instead of ripping their throats out, and werewolves have silky smooth chests when they haven’t transformed. And we accept all of this without blinking an eye. Yet it’s the little things that make us scoff and say, “That would never happen.” Check out the biggest logic fails from Season 4, Episode 123, “Into the Wild.”

Jeremy’s shows his nips in the nippy weather
It’s clearly cold on this Canadian island — even the vampires are bundled up, despite not being affected by the climate. But Bonnie (Kat Graham) waits until they’re out in the exposed, chilly temps to photograph Jeremy (Steven R. McQueen) and his tats. (Based on the way her hand lingered on his pecs, we’re sure she saved some of those pics to her phone without sharing them with the rest of the group, too.) Speaking of the tat map, that terrifying, Gollum-esque figure — which is supposed to represent Silas — doesn’t give anyone pause? That does not look like someone you want to unleash upon the world. 

Shane’s pain-free
Does Shane (David Alpay) have magical vampire healing powers — or is he just so under the influence of witch herbs that he feels no pain? In the flashback, the prof sliced deeply into his palm before rappelling down a cave. Sure, he wore gloves, but the gaping wound seemed to bother him not at all as he descended into the darkness.

Kol(d) corpse
Wow. We know Elena (Nina Dobrev) and the rest don’t particularly like Klaus (Joseph Morgan) but leaving him stuck with the rotting corpse of his brother Kol (Nathaniel Buzolic) was a rather tacky move. They were on a tight schedule, sure, but they had enough time to wait around for Jeremy (Steven R. McQueen) to rip his shirt off and reveal his tattoos. Wouldn’t it have been better spent tidying up a bit?

Share the plan, man
Yeah, yeah. Damon (Ian Somerhalder) and Elena had to talk about their feelings, but sometimes, you just have to take a timeout from relationship conversations to point out that Shane is crazy pants and planning yet another sacrifice. D probably thought he had all night to explain that Shane required three massacres, but really. He should’ve mentioned that their guide got his intel from a ghost witch who may or may not have nefarious plans before storming off into the night.

Worst hiding places ever
We straight up applauded when Stefan (Paul Wesley) said he wasn’t letting the tombstone out of his sight. (We saw what happened with the moonstone back in Season 2.) But then Jeremy went missing and everyone panicked, lost their heads, and hid their most valuable possessions inside their sleeping bag (Elena and the White Oak stake) or in their left-behind backpacks. Come on, guys. This isn’t your first go-around with irreplaceable magical objects.

Season Four of the Vampire Diaries is gunna heat up

Undoubtedly, we’ve been stressing over who’s leaving Mystic Falls, but when The Vampire Diaries taketh away, it also giveth. According to TVLine, we could see a familiar face soon.

The site promises the return will be “imminent, shocking and much-anticipated.” Hello, Katherine Pierce (Nina Dobrev) or Elijah Mikaelson(Daniel Gillies)!

Of course, we’re just guessing with those two names — but are either of them “shocking”? We think the Original brother might be semi-involved in trying to get the cure for vampirism — and he’s definitely due back forThe Originals pilot. Katherine has sworn up and down that she’ll stay as far from Klaus (Joseph Morgan) as possible. Perhaps she’ll put in an appearance while he’s in New Orleans?

Now that we’re dealing with magical wells that allow desperate bleeders to see their lost loved ones, almost anyone could make a ghostly cameo. Grams. Aunt Jenna (Sara Canning). Alaric (Matt Davis).

The Vampire Diaries Spin-Off, The Originals, Casts Daniella Pineda as the Witch Sophie

We have a witch! Daniella Pineda has joined the cast of the upcoming The Vampire Diaries’Originals spin-off, playing one of Klaus’s (Joseph Morgan)much-mentioned witch friends.  

Daniella will play Sophie, according toDeadline, a witch who has lost her magic but has plans to get it back. Also, she “is quietly sowing the seeds of a revolution amongst her peers.” Juicy! 

This ambitious enchantress joins Klaus, Original brother Elijah (Daniel Gillies), and badass werewolf Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin) on the scene in modern day New Orleans. We’re holding out hope that Original sibs Kol (Nathaniel Buzolic) and Rebekah (Claire Holt). Pretty please?  
 
If Daniella looks familiar, you may have seen her in The Fitzgerald Family Christmas or on an episode of the Showtime hit Homeland. No word yet on who will play young witch Davina; Klaus’s “diabolical former protégé”,Marcel; or female psychology student Cami, but we can’t wait to meet them all on April 25.

Are you ready for another love triangle between two guys and a gal?

In Ally Condie's Matched trilogy, a 17-year-old girl named Cassia lives in a dystopian future where the Society makes all the choices for the people, including their love matches. During her Matching ceremony, Cassia is paired with her best friend, Xander, but first a glitch in the system flashes the face of a boy named Ky. She becomes obsessed with Ky, even as she knows she should focus on her life with Xander.

The young adult series is in film development through Disney, andEntertainment Weekly talked to author Ally about her preferred casting for the characters. "I'm 34, so I'm mostly thinking about whose dad Nathan Fillion could play," Ally said, laughing. (No complaints! We’ll take as much Nathan as we can get.)

"A lot of fans have been sending pictures of actors,” the author continued. “I just saw Logan Lerman in The Perks of Being a Wallflower. A lot of fans have mentioned him, and I was kind of dying because he's the cutest thing ever — he would be a great Ky. Also, Nina Dobrev of The Vampire Diaries [would be good for Cassia]." EW noted that Nina looks like the girl on the Matched series book covers. "She does," Ally agreed. "I think she would be lovely. You hope you can get someone wonderful." Nina is all kinds of wonderful!

Fantastical young adult love triangles are all the rage right now, fromTwilight and The Hunger Games to Nina’s own TVD. This Matched series could be the next big film series, if they cast it right. Are you a fan? Which actors do you see in the main roles?
